The ancient practice of Hatha yoga is a wonderful transformative experience. Classical Ha (heating/solar)-tha (cooling/lunar) is a balanced practice for our entire wellbeing and spiritual connection. Hatha soothes the mind and focuses the thoughts; it deeply relaxes and energises the physical body and internal systems.
Taught in a classical methodical style and staying true to the goal of yoga, ‘to quiet the mind’, the mixed level class will include: Asanas (postures), Yoga Nidra (deep relaxation), Pranayama (breathing practices) and a brief meditation. The asanas that are offered can be as easeful or as challenging as you choose them to be! Through the one hour class you will experience deep awareness with connection of the breath, mind and body while constantly being guided to release physical tension. The flow of the class leads the mind to the final meditation which is the most important section. The ultimate result is a peaceful calming practice that will leave you filled with renewed positive energy. Om Shanti!
